Cambridge Public Health

 

Current research areas include the use of Geographic Information Systems (GISs) together with statistical methodologies for small area data analysis applied to the geography of disease and the delivery of public health services. He will shortly be starting a collaborative project with the Central University of Kamataka, India to develop an interactive spatial decision support system for monitoring public health in the area of infectious diseases using geoinformatics. He also has research interests looking into people’s fears about, or experiences of, crime in their local area and the possible impacts on their health and well-being.
