Members of the Cambridge Public Health community can voluntarily provide personal information about themselves to be shared in the Researcher directory. We gather this information so that we can share it with our community. We hope that this will increase the visibility of our community members and encourage interdisciplinary collaborations throughout our network. When completing your profile, you may provide as much or as little information as you like. Please note that any information that you provide will be publicly available. We use this personal information with your consent which you can withdraw at any time (see contact details below).

Cambridge Public Health Early Career Researcher mailing list

This mailing list is for University of Cambridge early career researchers interested in public health. This form collects personal information (name, CRSid, email) and information about your work (department, research information, person keywords, areas of expertise). 

Newsletter

If you chose to sign up to our newsletter via Mailchimp we will collect your contact details. This allows us to send you monthly newsletters with news and updates about Cambridge Public Health and other relevant information. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button found in every newsletter. Google Analytics

We also collect data about visitors from Google Analytics, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity. We collect this data so that we can better understand how visitors are using our website and improve our service. How long will my data be stored for?

Data entered into you researcher profile will remain publicly available until we receive notice from you that you would like it changed or removed. Information provided when you sign-up to the newsletter will be stored until we receive notice from you that you would like us to change or delete this information.

What data do we collect?

Directory

If you complete a researcher profile you may choose to include any combination of the following information (your last name is the only mandatory field):

  • Name and title
  • Contact details (crsid, email address, phone number, place of work)
  • Job title and position
  • Affiliations and collaborators
  • Areas of interest
  • Publications

Any information you provide will be publicly available.

Cambridge Public Health ECR Mailing List 

If you complete the CPH ECR Mailing List form we will collect the following information:

  • Name
  • CRSid
  • Email address
  • Department
  • Information about your research
  • Keywords related to your research
  • Areas of expertise
  • Whether or not you would like to sign up to the public directory and newsletter

This information will be used to add you to the ECR mailing list hosted on the University of Cambridge's Sympa account. Any subscriber can post to the mailing list with approval from a moderator.

Newsletter

If you chose to sign up to our newsletter via Mailchimp we will collect the following information:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name

We share this information with Mailchimp in order to manage our newsletter subscriptions.
