Cambridge Public Health

My main research interest is in how population level and distribution of physical activity are shaped by the dynamic interplay between intrapersonal, social and environmental determinants, drawing on epidemiological and systems science frameworks and methods. My ultimate goal is to generate evidence to inform policy recommendations and actions that can effectively promote physical activity for all and reduce health inequalities.
I am also interested in the application of systems science to other population health topics, such as upstream determinants of noncommunicable diseases and program formulation and evaluation, and in methodological developments to fully adapt the framework and methods of systems science to the particulars of population health research.
