I am a methodological statistician working at the MRC Biostatistics unit. My primary research interest is in adaptive and novel clinical trial designs. In particular I have interests in group-sequential designs and multi-arm multi-stage trial designs. I am increasingly interested in trial designs when there are biomarker subgroups.
My second main research interest is improving the efficiency of analyses of composite outcomes where some of the components are continuous. This has mostly been in the context of phase II cancer clinical trials, but I would be interested to explore other disease types too.
