Cambridge Public Health

 

Research focuses on the influences of dietary, lifestyle, body composition, and underlying conditions on bone health, and on population health and policy implications of a low calcium intake and/or vitamin D status. Studies are conducted in the UK, The Gambia, Bangladesh, Uganda, South Africa and China. Areas of work include calcium and vitamin D requirements, pregnancy and lactation; nutrition transition, health impacts of supplementation; prevalence and aetiology of rickets.
