Connecting people and ideas to improve global health and wellbeing

Context

Good health and wellbeing are essential to sustainable development as recognised by SDG3. Although notable progress towards improving global health outcomes have been made, there remains considerable health inequities, particularly between populations in low and middle-income countries and those in high income countries.

What we do

Our work focuses on fostering relationships with partners in LMICs. Our goal is to combine the world-leading research taking place at Cambridge with that of our partners across the world, in an effort to improve health for everyone.

The University’s Global Health portfolio covers a wide range of subjects across different departments including emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, neglected tropical diseases, vaccines, diet and activity, neurotrauma, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
