Cambridge Public Health is collaborating with Cambridge Zero and Darwin College on a series of events about planetary health this month.
Global environmental change threatens our lives and civilisations like never before. Planetary health recognises that our existence health depends on flourishing natural systems. We are part of, not separate from, nature.
This series will bring experts from across the world to speak (virtually) to the University of Cambridge community and help us answer one key question: What should our role be in addressing planetary health challenges?
We will discuss planetary health as a concept, identify synergies and areas of current and future collaboration in planetary health research, and consider the position of Cambridge in a global context. In doing so, we must look to develop better and more equitable ways of working with international communities.
