Cambridge Public Health

The Community and Public Health Approaches to Dementia Research (ComPHAD) project is excited to announce its inaugural Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting on Friday, May 3rd, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

The SIG aims to address both health and social issues that impact ageing brain health, with a special emphasis on individuals with protected characteristics and highly diverse communities

At the meeting, we are privileged to welcome guest speaker Katrina Messiha, who will present her work on theory-based principles for co-creation in public health. Katrina has published a systematic review and will be giving an overview of the study.

The event offers a unique opportunity for collaborative dialogue to collectively define the goals and objectives of the SIG. By doing so, we can ensure that the SIG provides significant value and relevance to a diverse group of interdisciplinary colleagues dedicated to serving under-represented, underserved, and under-researched populations.

To extend this opportunity to interested colleagues, we have set up an Eventbrite page for registration. Whether you wish to attend this event or join the SIG for ongoing engagement, we welcome your participation.
