Jonathan Mant is Professor of Primary Care Research and Head of the Primary Care Unit at the University of Cambridge. He leads the Cardiovascular Research Group.
Jonathan’s current research focuses on stroke prevention and treatment in primary care settings. He is currently chief investigator on one programme grant funded by NIHR on developing primary care stroke services, and is a co-investigator on two further NIHR programmes on optimising blood pressure control through self monitoring and through supporting medication adherence . He has a longstanding interest in screening for and treatment of atrial fibrillation.
