Cambridge Public Health

MPhil student

I am currently a postgraduate student in the MPhil in Population Health Sciences Program (Public Health stream) at the University of Cambridge. I am also a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where I studied global health, political science, and psychology.

My main areas of interest are public health policy, planetary health, health equity (particularly related to racialized/immigrant communities), and science communication. My past research projects have focused on topics such as COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among ethnocultural minority communities in Canada; issues of transparency and trust in COVID-19 policy development; and the role of local NGOs in supporting refugee/migrant health and wellbeing in Athens, Greece.

My current research focuses on the migration of healthcare workers from LMICs to Canada, with a particular emphasis on ethical and political considerations amidst imminent climate-related health impacts in many LMICs.
