Cambridge Public Health

 

The Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge, is seeking a Research Assistant or Research Associate to support delivery of the Population Evidence and Data Science theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) in the East of England.

The role involves contributing to the development, conduct, analysis and evaluation of applied population health research that focuses on the use of health and care data to improve population health and address health inequalities.

While based in Cambridge, the role involves work closely with both researchers from the other universities (within ARC) and the NIHR School for Public Health Research. The successful candidate will be expected to pro-actively engage with partner organisations able to improve the quality, access to, and use of population heath data.

It is anticipated they will also be involved in preparing peer-review publications and dissemination material for practice stakeholders and members of the public.

Candidates should have a Degree, Masters, PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
