
This event is a jointly organised event by the Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as part of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and with the support of Cambridge Biomedical Campus Limited.
What: Symposium on sustainable surgery, focussing on what we know about the current environmental impact of surgery and anaesthetics, and how we can bring about an evidence based transition to a circular economy and more sustainable surgical practice. The symposium will open with talks from national leaders in this field, Dr Chantelle Rizan and Dr Cathy Lawson. These will be followed by a Q&A session and facilitated group work to develop local actions.
Who: Open to all those working or studying on the Biomedical Campus.
When: 18th August between 1.30-3.30pm
