About
A new film about commercial influence on policy and public health, produced by members of the Commercial Determinants Research Group at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, funded through the SPECTRUM Consortium.*
Unmasking Influence brings the commercial influences that are shaping our world out of the shadows through the expertise and experiences of people who work to expose and counter these forces. It aims to show why addressing these harmful commercial determinants of health is the major public health issue of our time and why policymakers must act.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion involving the producer, director and other participants. It takes place at 3.15pm on Friday 21 November 2025 in the Webb Library at Jesus College, Cambridge.
