About the Ethical Electives

Ethical electives give healthcare profession students the chance to undertake a supervised placement within a CGHP partnership in the Global South. These electives provide:

• Hands-on clinical and/or research experience
• The opportunity to work within an established international health partnership
• Funding of up to £1000 to support elective costs

Students can gain experience in a specialism and organisation of their choice, benefiting from a learning environment that differs from what’s available in the UK.

Expressions of Interest for the scheme are currently open, with matched students supported through the next steps.
